These apricots are organic and are much darker in colour than ones that have added preservatives (which turn them bright orange and can impugn the taste). Sweet and chewy they are great for a snack or add to backing or fruit salads.
Apricots make for an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin C and dietary fibre, and given that the Vitamin A in Apricots is fat soluble, the fruit dissolves in the body easily and the important nutrients are effortlessly absorbed. Also a darn good source of dietary fibre, potassium and the powerful antioxidant carotenoid - lycopene.
